thinking outside of the box for a dating site

So, I have had a domain sitting for awhile and decided to do something with it. I set up an open source online dating system, hacked an existing template to fit, and just need to do some example data cleanup and add a couple of functions. (forum and chat). If the site shows any sign of life I'll invest in a high end design and a tight dating system.

But it is just another senior dating website. No frills out of the ordinary.

  1. I'm looking for some ideas that are a bit different. I was thinking about identity verification and the entire senior safety thing, but that is not unique. Plus it's going to be 100% free.

Anyone got any ideas on how to take this outside of the norm before I hand it over to someone to build content and manage it's workings? The site is the obvious link in my footer.

    How about a slogan " Sex, Drugs and Geriatrics ". *laughs*

    All jokes aside, great idea. I would make the text in a bigger font .. remember seniors don't have 20/20 vision. Make it easy on their eyes, Clean up the interface .. too many boxes.
