HELP: I'm trying to find a drop down sidebar widget for Wordpress where I can reorder the categories

I'm using Wordpress 3.0.5 and have looked everywhere for a plugin that creates a sidebar category widget that allows me to include or exclude the categories I want...AND...will allow me to set the order of the categories the way I want...AND...does all that with a drop down menu.

The best one I found so far is the AVH Extended Categories plugin...but it won't allow me to reorder the categories the way I want.
The problem is that AVH Extended Categories makes the menu order like this:
Module - 1
Module - 10
Module - 11
Module - 12
Module - 13
Module - 14
Module - 15
blah, blah, blah until it gets to Module - 19, and then it goes to Module - 2, and then Module - 20, then Module - 21, etc., etc., etc.

And obviously I want the menu order to be like this:
Module - 1
Module - 2
Module - 3
Module - 4
and on it should go until Module - 36
Got any ideas or suggestions for how I can make this work?

Thanks for reading this.
Steve

Why not use WordPress's own Custom Menu builder? it can do all of that for you (except the drop down menu) and then no need to install a plugin - when creating the menu, you select which categories to include and drag and drop them into whatever order you want them to be, once saved go to Appearance - Widgets and drop the widget into the sidebar - depending on what theme you are using you may be able to create more than one Custom Menu.

Thanks Susanne, WP 3.0's new custom menu system is awesome, and I've been using it, but I really needed drop down menus for this one.

Now why the heck didn't I think of that?! I guess it was late. Anyway, you da man and thanks!

For the sake of anyone else wanting to create a drop down menu in the sidebar for specific categories...

I changed the existing file names (slugs) from "module-1" and "module-2" to "module-01" and "module-02" etc., etc. I used the AVH Extended Categories plugin so I could create a drop down menu in my sidebar and I set it up to order the categories by the slug. That way I could preserve the names of the categories ("Module - 1" instead of "Module - 01") too.

      Thanks again.
