Please Help Me Find...

Hey Everyone,
I have searched till my fingers are bleeding,OK maybe not that long but here is what I am looking for.
I am trying to find a script or a software proiduct that I can build or create a downloadable desktop application for my members that basically will reside in thier task bar.
When the member enters their username and passowrd it basically pulls content from the members area into the application.
They can basically access the site without having to actually open their browser.
I had one for another site I owned about 8 years ago but have lost my copy and the programmer I had beck then is no where to be found.
What was nice was anytime I updated info on the site or uploaded a new video for my members the application would flash to alert the member something was going on. It also flashed anytime they have a new referral.
It also had slide out windows that contained the content the member wanted to view when they clicked the different links on the application.
Anyway for some reason I seem to remember my programmer had bought Mark Joyner's Farewell package and the script for making these apps was in there.
Does anyone know if that is true? If so where it can be found and if not any more up to date application that might be out there that would work to make something like this.

    I would say he wrote an app to connect to your specific site.

    best bet would be to outsource the job on a site like vworker unless you know how to program c , c++ etc
