joomla and xmap sitemap wont submit

Is there some trick to get google to accept your sitemap?

I am using Joomla and Xmap. Every time I submit the sitemap URL that Xmap says to give to google, it fails with a big red "X"

I have never had any problems before with sitemaps, and cannot use xml-sitemaps.com for this website.

Click on the sitemap link next to the red X

Then you see what the error/warning is!
