What Plug-in to Disable Comments in WP

I'm building a WP site using the Flexibility 3 theme and want to show the date and time of the posts but not allow comments to be displayed.

I have searched the WP plug-in database and cannot find any plug-ins to "Disable Comments"

Flexibility 3 only allows me to turn on/off "Post Date/Time and Comments" all in one shot. All or nothing...

Note: With the setting "on", it also enables replies on Pages. I have installed a plug-in that disables replies on pages but I'm coming up short how disabling comments for posts.

Anyone know of a plug-in that will disable the comments link for posts?

    From your dashboard simply go to:

    Settings -> Discussion
    Uncheck the box that says "Allow people to post comments on new articles"

    and BAM comments disabled

    The only downfall for this is that most themes will display something along the lines of "Comments Disabled" under each post/page were the comment would normally be.

    I usually go a step further an edit the theme file for single and page. In these there is a reference to comments template. Delete it and the above is gone.

    Exactly, No Plugin needed as WP has inherent option to disable comments wither on specific post / page or globally on site as @StokesCreative said.
