Seriously cut back on the top banners. I mean 5 banners The ones in the side don't bother me that much and I know they also do get lots less attention but 5 banners is really overkill and makes me want to leave the site immediately.
Also yes your site loads slowly (at least on my connection here in India).

Other than that I'd consider adding some content. If you only want the forum then thats fine but making a blog or something would definitely add to search rankings and also offer more value to visitors bringing in more repeats. Also you have 7 links in the top and I really only want to click on the forum one so thats a hint that some other content might be needed. If you don't plan on adding anything else to that menu, maybe you should actually get rid of it and just put the other buttons as textlinks at the bottom of the page. That way it will look more like its meant to be just a forum and thus look more professional.

    Hmmm Thanks for the insights..

But then again the main business on the forum comes from those banner ads and thus i pay to the members who posts as per their posts quality on my forum.

If i remove the banners , i may not have money to pay to members. This is kind of a baffling situation , but again i appreciate your suggestion

    Thanks

I like the color combination and CSS. I found it unique with easy navigation.

First impressions are key, and upon opening your site I probably would have left as soon as I arrived with all that "noise" going on at the top of your page.

I'd much rather see some content explaining a bit about what's going on.

    Cheers!

Many people would leave very quickly because there is nothing to read, no content before the fold.

When I switched on, my first thought is what is this, just adverts and I clicked off!

Think about having one revolving banner at the top, so you can show say 3 promotions in a smaller space.

On a plus side your load time was fine on my computer, using firefox.

OMG, Banner central all above the fold on the front door. Nothing to lure me in really.

You could be saving a ton of money by not having to pay people to post if they wanted to post naturally. What would do that for me?

If I saw some interesting conversation going on when I hit that page - not the whole thing but perhaps a teaser.

Ah ok I wasn't aware. To be honest I didn't give the site much look (just 2-5 minutes navigating around). But still could you at least remove 4 of the top banners, keep one there and then just rotate between the 5 banners? If you don't scare away visitors immediately theres still a big chance they will click the banners. Of course you shouldn't take my word for it but what you should do is go and test it out with just 1 banner and see the results.

But the concept sounds pretty fun. Also if people really like your page there is a good chance some will click banners even if not really interested. I know I do that sometimes on a few forums I really like, just to support the forum basically

Yeah exactly. Same thing I felt when opening the page. Look a how they did here on warriorforum. They're so good at making the ad blend in that id doesn't feel like an ad. It feels like an integrated part of the site. And yes I often click those ads

Maybe you can have all the ads as vertical banners to the left and the forum to the right? That way you can have the ads right where the visitors can see them while at the same time not making them as intrusive as they are now.

Also what's that green thing doing there at the top? It doesn't seem to be an ad scroller so to me it's just wasting valuable space. Take a look at WEBHALLEN.com. To me these guys are excellent in using their website space for the right purposes.

Also you could change the home title to something more informative and keyword rich than "italkmoney.com sponsored by..".
