HOW TO MAKE RAW HTML DISPLAY AS NORMAL TEXT USING BLOGGER

I would like to know how to make RAW HTML CODE Converted to NORMAL TEXT using blogger platform.I am newbie into affiliate marketing and i am ready to get started steadily.I am ready to learn.Once i pasted the code into my BLOG POST,it always remain in HTML FORMAT without being converted into NORMAL MODE.What is really the problem and a way out?Please help me.Below is the copy of the code:

    It is Javascript code.. ..

    Where you are trying to add it? IN the sidebar or in the posts?

    In the past when i used blogger (have not used it recently)...
    This worked (found on google!):

    With Blogger you add a gadget in the layout section and a screen will pop up and scroll down and there will be one that says javascript html click on it and you will know the rest easliy it will just go on to the settings then in the text place copy your Html or Javascript into the text box and press save.

    Hope this solves this.
