Default Analytics and 301 redirect

Is there a way to capture any analytics on a domain that has a 301 redirect in place, pointing to an external landing page?

Placing my code on the landing page is not possible.

Not directly, no.

You could look at the 301 server logs, or track referrals to the landing page. Since you cant place code on that page, though, you could look at the server files for that site as well.

Or you could redirect to an html frameset with two frames, one is the desired landing page and the other would be your tracking page. This may be accurate enough for your tracking purposes.
