I'm testing some new landing page designs and wanted to get a few thoughts from those interested in design, particularly landing page design.

i like it. contemporary, classy and professional looking. doesnt have the usual, in your face, hard sell. whether thats a positive or a negative, i dont know. i wouldnt have thought the in face your face stuff, most landing pages are, would work, but they do.

  it's a decent design, good job, doesn't look bad, but i find the top off balance. Hope that common criticism helps.

  Thanks AdamCBR. You're right, the traditional direct response, newspaper style pages do work well. I'm trying to venture out of those pages a bit.
  
  CarloD. Thanks for the criticism. I will post a link to a functional example. The top is a bit off balance with the call to action form. The concept there is something I call the "constant call".
  
  It's a technique of keeping your cta visible at all times.

Cool design! Considering those who may want to download and use it as their product's landing page, you may want to add a division somewhere in the optin area or on its left side with a sample image...

It'll make it easier for them to replace it with their own product image, maybe?

  The opt-in form in the working example is a live opt-in form if you want to get updates. I'm going to be designing a lot of landing pages of all styles.

  You're right about the image and/or video. I'm planning to do multiple styles. I wanted to share this one to get some feedback from the forum since most people here use a squeeze page at some point.

  Lovely look for a download page. It is fresh and clean (which I love). One thing I would do differently is using the gray type. It is difficult to read the text. It might be my aging eyes, but my preference is something with a bit more contrast . . .just in the readable type.
