URGENT Help Needed Please - How To Create Custom Wordpress Homepage in Existing Theme?!

Hi All

I have been going over and over the files within editor of wordpress admin and trying stuff...

The theme I use is as follows...

plans-for-sheds.co


You can see the little white area below the blue 'sub-header' area(and just above the footer area with 'copyright...)... that is where I want to add the landing/optin page info incl aweber form.

The theme has options within admin for standard about, features etc that are displayed when vinked in admin...I have turned all those off.

Normally within admin... Settings >> Reading >>... you can set the homepage as static page, choose 'frontpage and choose which page that was created to use for the homepage!

!!!That option does not exists when I look?!


Also when you have an optin template different from the theme you use for rest of site... how can you use it anyway to become the homepage/landing page of your site?! s
