Hey guys,

I have 4 images, all jpegs, with white background. I need to convert them into a png files that have transparent backgrounds.

I need to get that done today. Please let me know if you can do it and how much.

Thank you,

Peter

P.s.
These are simple images, not complicated photos. In fact, they are images of a single color splash. Thank you.

What software do you have? If you have access to something like photoshop you can use the lasso tool to remove the white background its really simple. If you do not have access to photoshop go to FotoFlexer - Get Started Now and find their tool called smart scissors. That should help.

What do the images look like? BTW using a transparent background may not give you the results you want. Typically when you take away the background it leaves edges that you can see and don't match the background you are placing the image on. Probably better to give them a background color that matches the background you are placing them into.

I've looked at your images. The three splash images I've changed to a PNG with a transparent background for you. To be honest, the original images are ropey. They look like they've been scaled up from a smaller image and the resolution is breaking down. This makes it harder to get a smooth edge and as you'll see from the images (particularly the yellow one), the edge looks a little harsh. Normally I would suggest creating a clipping path around it, which would give a smooth edge, but as I say, your original image is a bit ropey, I'm not sure it's worth it.

The file named 'dream-in-colour-top' you have little chance of getting a successful transparent background - certainly not easily or quickly. It's a small file, the resolution is poor and the and there is sooooooo much going on it makes it ridiculously hard to isolate the white. If it was me, I would try and get someone to recreate it from scratch.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

You can download the 3 splash images here: HotShare - png files.zip

            Regards
            Adam

Rush graphics just converted 2 graphics for me. The blue and magenta colors. Thank you so much. Now, I just need 2 more images.

By the way, I went to Rush Graphics' site and she has some really nice work there. I like the logo for that Lace & Roses. That's very cool.

Photoshop can remove the image in the background, and then save as png format images, of course, if the image is too complicated, perhaps the effect would be a bad edge.

Wow, you really have a great offer.

It was totally worth reading your personal advertising 3 times, from a thread that was opened over 4 years ago.

Yeah, but now you've immortalised his ad inside your post even though his post has been removed.

Any way to remove your post or the quoted content?
