How many of you are running a version of Adobe CS? Are you on a Windows 32 or 64 bit system? I have CS3, on Windows 32, right now. But, I have only 10 days left to take advantage on an excellent price for Adobe CS5. My other question is, are there any advantages in going with a 64 over a 32? Will things change that dramatically, soon, to where I will need to buy this all over again? My present computer will be replaced in about 6 months, so I have to make some quick decisions on a 32 or 64 bit machine.

Thanks

If you are getting a new machine in 6 months then you should go with the 64 bit version.

OSs still support X86 software because the software developers are still writing it but that will change.

32 bit platforms will be around for a while longer but are definitely on their way out.

There won't be dramatic speed increases or anything, but this is graphics we're talking about. The more RAM the better, and 32bit systems can only support around 3.5GB in practice.

Thanks for the tips. I think I will go with the 64 bit version of Adobe CS5. In six or so months, I will replace my present Windows 32 bit system with a 64. Thanks, again!
