The absolute easiest way is to go to fiverr and pay someone $5 to do it for you

Two things going on with a site sale. You must transfer the domain and then also give the website. make your customer get an account at YOUR registrar, then call your registrar for help. they will help you. you will need the buyers account info - email maybe, account number, etc.

zip up the whole website and send it to them. you could use dropbox for that, free edition. then they have to call their hosting company to install. their hosting company should help them for free since theyare providing the website files.

Go to the Tools > Export option on your WordPress admin and then save your posts/pages as an xml file. Then import this file into your new WordPress installation.

But if you have lots of plugins and you don't want the hassles of installing and configuring each one, make a backup using the MySQL section of your Cpanel. You can then import this backup file into your new blog's database.

You can also ask your web hosting provider to perform the entire process for you.

dont ask him anything. Use your cpanel to compress the whole site and send it to him.

You can also ask your host to send you a backup copy of your whole site on a link, and send the link to your client.

      Thanks

Would be more than happy to help. I created a post some time ago about the way to do it manually, and the easier way to do it.

I will mention that my niche is the very niche that you want to get into, adn can at times do this process a handful of times in a day, so its tried and tested, and in a nutshell, I know my stuff.

    Anyway, the post is at:

How To Clone A WordPress Blog In Under Ten Minutes

If you need any help on that one, hit me up at the contact section on my blog. I'm rarely in here these days, so its the most reliable way to chase me up.

As for the transfer process, I'd do it in this order:

    1. Receive payment
    2. Install website on their hosting account using this method
    3. Change the DNS so that it points to their hosting account, and verify that it is working (more on that below)
    4. Send them an EPP code to initiate the transfer of the domain (check with your host to find where this is located)
    5. Keep an eye out for verification emails for the transfer of the website, and approve
    6. Relax, you're done!

As for testing the transfer, I personally like to use a custom HTML file and upload it to the new owners hosting account, so that for example, if I were to navigate to domain.com/transfer.html, it would only show when it has transferred successfully.

Good luck, hope this helps you and anyone else that needs this.

This will be installed on the new hosting account. If you are selling a website to someone, then generally they will take care of this.

If not, then this is done on the new hosting account in the root directory for the domain that is being transferred.

Ok, hence this is the third step, instead of step 2, right?.Because the site is not transfered yet and u described it(changing DNS) in third step..

ya, but my doubt is in order to install these fles he needs a control panel of my domain, but the site will only appear in his hosting account once i change the dns server to point to his hosting account..

I would say the easiest way if you are un-experienced is to have someone to do it for you for a fee. It won't be that large, well it could be depending on the amount of content and what not. I would expect it to be around $5-10.

Its not that difficult to move your site to other hostings. There are many tutorials which help you how to do. These are some steps involved.

    1. Backup the website database
    2. backup the wordpress folder ( wp-content)
    3. Go to new hosting and install wordpress
    4. Replace wp-content folder with backuped wordpress folder.
    5. Create a database and restore the backup database.

You can google to get more detailed information or visit youtube to watch how to do this.

    Thank you...

The process of moving a wordpress installation from one server to another can be complicated and cause major problems if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

I have completed this process dozens of times and have also written a full blog post on How To Fully Backup Your Site and Move Wordpress to a New Host

I also offer a service that completes the full process of backup, migration and restoration to your new host and/or domain. In some cases, free of charge

Backing up your database does NOT backup your entire site. It does not backup your plugins and plugin configurations, theme settings and customisations, seo settings etc.

I wouldn't trust anybody saying its a full backup until i take a good look at first. If its not they won't be responsible.

I fully backup my own site myself using a plugin automatically everyday that way i know for sure my site is FULLY backed up (Everything)

Your host may have backed it up but can you extract the files and restore it to a new host?
Can you change the config file?
Is the file a.tz sql dump? If it is, do you understand how to restore it? Because i bet that.s exactly what it is. A server dump

Database backup does not backup your fullsite. You could however copy the full folder using FTP and download it to your local computer but would you then understand how to migrate and restore it?
