Why is wordpress remmeebring my edits even after I delete and reload a new style.css file?

I was trying to move the sidebar in the style.css file as per some instructions and it didn't work.

It screwed up the page so I deleted the whole theme and loaded another theme while I reload the default folder again form my computer.

When I go to reload the theme it has still remembered the screwups and I don't know how to get rid of them.

How do I rectify this?

    #1 rule when working with stylesheets: clear your browser cache.

    It could very well be that your browser isn't loading the new stylesheet because it thinks it already has a current version.
