Review My Website Please

I'm going to be honest here. You lost me straight away with the amount of adverts you have.

When it started loading up, my initial thought was 'hmmm...logo isnt very strong'. That was confirmed when a big, bold banner next to it, loaded up and overshadowed it.

Then, just under the menu bar, you have a group of google text ads on the left. google banner ad on the right. below the google banner ad, you have another advert.

i can just see the start of the post under the text ads, but it doesnt entice me to read it. then i did a quick scroll and saw the all the text ads between each post.

Instant thought? Are these posts worthwhile enough to warrant being bombarded with all the advertising? I doubt it. Therefore I didnt bother reading.

Sorry, but I actually hate websites where people just try to fill the page up with adverts. To me, it should always be secondary from content. If I choose to read it, view it, click on it, thats my choice. But if you try to shove it down my throat at every opportunity I'll just not bother visiting.

When the "Your Opinion Counts" popup appeared, I was outta there! Wow, in my face! Never got to see a word of content.

Decent, but not the best bit for a fashion site. Stop worrying about ads. Truth is your website exits only for ads. There is no unique content. So keep ads in prominent places for making money. nice layout, good color... all the ads throw me off a bit. it reminds me of a spam site with the amount of random stuff on the page

1.) your menu looks broken
2.) why are there pizza adds on it!? (Not related to fashion AT ALL!)
3.) Header can use some work.

Looks like you have made a number of changes from your first post.

But there are some fundamentals missing... your domain name has nothing to do with "Fashion News" and some of the menu options you have don't have anything to do with fashion either.

I agree. You have way too many ads. I don't think many people would like to read your site like that.

I couldn't figure out what your site is about. I know it's about fashion...but what type of fashion?

well, your site colors great, content is also great the ads, but when i open it,im sorry to say, i just want to be honest, i slightly disappointed with it because your site was on the right side of the page.. i dont know if you intentionally put it on the right side of the page or it is because of my browser, but anyway, for a suggestion, you can put those content on the center of the page so that more visitors/customers can be loved your site, and also you can have a better and a bigger banner so that it is more attractive. And some suggestion to your major links, it seems not the major links cause the font size is so small.. maybe you get it bigger so that it can be seen better. One last thing the sizes of the images, it was so big.. may be you can resize it and have it clickable so that if the visitors want to view it in the bigger size they see it well.

On my screen, the buttons at the top are kicked into an odd configuration by the header ad banner. I would recommend doing a magazine style theme for this site. Too much scrolling to see the "articles". I put that in quotes because there doesn't seem to be a lot of content for Google to scan on the page. Your images are too big, and I'd question whether you had copyrights to them - if not, that's copyright infringement and is a no-go without some kind of license/permission/crediting, etc.

My first impression was "YES!". I'm a reader, but there was too little for me to read. Nice pics. You've put a good amount of effort into this site. Make it Awesome! and insert just one or two lines of content under the pics for interest and google love.

I have to agree with most of the comments here, but I do like your colours/colors and pics-

btw 'jewellery' is just fine. Down under, we understand. Your domain is .us though. USA are more economic with their words. One other thing. Fix your images. Turn 'seo quake' off while editing your site.

It is a great site, but very tough niche to crack. The competition is too fierce! Personally, i like it!

It looks like the width of the site is static. It only covers about the half the screen on a wide screen. It should be dynamic.
Ads should be below the fold if you have to have them in there at all. The first thing you do is beg them to go somewhere else.
