Best Shopping Carts For Wordpress: Your Experience?

I'm looking for a shopping cart for Wordpress to use to sell premium memberships.

I also need something that I can plug an affiliate program into.

Do you have any experience with....

WP-Commerce
We E-Commerce
ShopperPress
WP-Oscommerce

Or some other plugin I don't know about? What's your experience and recommends?

    Have a look at 1shoppingcart. I'm not saying it's the one-and-only best of the bunch, but it does have some good features, and the price is pretty good as well.

    They are down right now. I can only imagine the price their users are paying for that now. Not sure I want something like that.

    What about a solution we host, so we're not subject to a third party to process orders.

      That's only their website that might be down for maintenance right now. Their payment processing system is separate from that.

    Premium memberships to your WP site or another software?
    General answer* = A full featured shopping cart could be over-kill, if all you are selling is premium memberships.

    Also, remember to test and make sure the premium access gets canceled if your user terminates the subscription.
    *I have more experience with other software. Do you have a good reason to want to do this with blogging software?

    If your primary product is membership subscription, why not use a membership plugin instead of a shopping cart? Some WordPress membership plugins can be integrated with 3rd party shopping cart software so that you are able to sell physical products to your subscribers, too.

    I don't really understand how you want to integrate a premium membership with a shopping cart system. Sounds like you just have a handful of products?

    Anyhoo, Shopp is another great Wordpress e-commerce plugin. Might be worth a look (can't post URL's yet, so search "Shopp Wordpress" in google)

        Thanks a lot for your kind words, blue_sky. We do have a shopping cart plugin section on our site, but it's kind of old and needs updating. That's why I don't reference it often.

    I'm searching hard for a good shopping cart plugin for myself which i will review after i use it for a while. Shopping cart and eCommerce plugins are a bit tricky as there seems to be a lot of playing around to get some of them to work properly but i'm sure there are some good ones out there somewhere. I just don't want to pay a monthly fee to use one

      I use eShop for most client sites. Very customizable but does have a learning curve.

      This shopping cart is integrated throughout radardetectorforbikes.com which is the last client I set this up for.

      The plugin is free and can be downloaded at Wordpress.org
