Need Help designing a squeeze page

Hey there.

I'm a total newb here, first post.

I'm trying to set up a squeeze page for a PLR product I'm planning to promote. Here is what I want it to look like:

Header will just be one of the banners they are providing in their sales materials. I am struggling to figure out how to get Wordpress to upload the images, though. They're in PNG format, and every time I try to upload the banner image to WP, it tells me that it's not allowed due to security. Help.

Below the header, I want to have 3-4 bullet points for sales points, emphasizing a healthy discount.

Below these bullet points, centered, I want to have my aWeber optin form (already customized for the niche in question).

Here are my challenges right now:

I already mentioned the image format issue--UPDATE: I figured out how to change the image to a JPEG using my Paint. However, now when I upload the image, regardless of its size, WP only lets me display one half or the other. Both are important. Help.

I'm struggling to find a WP theme that will let me lay out something so simple. Again, this page will consist of a header, a few bullet points, and a name/email squeeze.

Also, once they optin, I want to redirect my new customers to an OTO page where I'll try to upsell them. I am also unclear on how to do this. Help.

Help!

Thanks!

I would suggest looking at OptimizePress or WP Sales Engine for your squeeze page. I was in a very similar predicament looking for a WP theme that would easily conform to a squeeze page layout, but didn't have any luck.

I'm not an affiliate or anything, just think that this would be the simplest and easiest way to get this done. It will probably resolve your image issue, too.

      Good luck!

The size of the header image should be set in the CSS file controlling the theme layout. If you change that size to match the size of your image, it should display the entire image.

It will, of course, depend on the theme you're using.

If you don't know enough about CSS and Wordpress to feel comfortable making changes, then probably OptimizePress or something similar will be easier for you to use. I prefer making a custom page template for mine.

    Hello!

Welcome to IM love your profile pic, co cute

Now, onto your problem.... I have faced the EXACT same problem so I am speaking from experience here, do you have $10?

Go over to fiverr and find someone to do your squeeze page with the header you want. You may even get someone to do it all for $5, but for $10 you will get everything and get it uploaded to your site too!

Make sure you have your copy written and if you have a URL that you can supply to your contractor it will help you get the outcome you want.

Honestly, this is the EASIEST and QUICKEST way to get your squeeze page up. I get them done all the time and have been very happy. I always choose someone with feedback, that's prob the biggest tip, and give them ALL the information right away to save going back and forth.

    Best of luck

    Peace

oh sorry, should of been clearer on one of the points I made...

If you can find an example of what you want your squeeze page to look like give that to the contractor, it makes their job easier and you will end up getting something that you actually want ;0)

Ok thats all for now! Got any other q's ask away

        Do Next?

Well, first of all, welcome to Warrior Forum!

        Secondly, it's a bit rude to hi-jack a person's thread.

Thirdly, it is in your best interest to think about what you need
to have done, then create a post requesting help for your specific
problem as to get the most personalized feedback.

        ================================

        brobdingnagian,

If you look for the forum that has the WSO's, ie, Warrior Special
Offers, I thought I saw an offer from a warrior that has software
that will set up WordPress themes especially for squeeze pages.
I was so impressed, I almost went for it, but I know 0 about WP,
so I declined. Looks like something you should check out because
at some point you will need to set up another offer, oto, etc, and
you'll have something that will help you do it over and over.

        Good luck,

        LastWarrior
