Weird problem with Word Press, disappearing code

Hi, I have someone uploading posts to my blog. I've given her an author account.

She's saying they're publishing this code,

<a href="site.com"><img id="idTag" title="title" src="img.jpg" width="750" height="321" /></a>

and it's outputting like this

<a href="site.com"><img src="img.jpg" width="750" height="321" /></a>

I've tried with my account, and it keeps the img id's... could this be something to do with account privilages?

She even sent me a screen cast, and, sure enough, she pastes the right code in, hits publish, then the id is gone!

Any ideas, I'm baffled.

Hello

I have sometimes experienced similar problems not with different types of accounts but images and other code added to posts that seems to disappear. Try saving the post before switching back to the visual tab.

Thanks for the replies. That's not the problem, she showed me a screen cast of her, in html mode, pasting in the code, then publishing it, and the id just dissapearing.

I gave her editor rights... what's the difference between editor and author rights?

Editor can add and edit tags authors can't do that, I wouldn't have thought that was the problem but I suppose that wordpress could be stopping editors from adding the code the posts maybe advanced editing of posts needs to be done by admin?
