Browser not matching dreamweaver?

How come when i put something in dreamweaver, it sometimes dosnt match the browser? this happens with FF and IE. Why is this happening and how do you fix it?

    That's because Dreamweaver uses a different rendering engine to the web browsers. Just concentrate on making your site look good in the web browsers and not Dreamweaver.

    There can be a number of reasons for this.

    Firstly, check your tags - web browsers will often compensate for missing closing tags by 'fixing' the output - DW won't do this and may show your design as being all over the place.

    If it's not your tags, then it could be DW's on-screen Visual Aids. If you turn off all Visual Aids you will (hopefully) see the same output as you do in the browser.
