Facing problem to change paramlink of my wordpress blog.

Hi all!

I have been strugling to chage the paramlink of my movie blog filmstime.com

I tried to chnage it. And after changing it the post was redirecting to my home page.

If any one fo you could help on this.

      Thanks for your time.
      Currently i am using it as Previous Post i.e default

      But is want to use custom structure - /%postname%/

      When i am using it i am redirected to the hom page.

      So can u tell me the solution for it.

    Your blog has a content gateway in front so it is impossible for me to check what is actually going on. Would you remove it?

    The issue might be with htaccess file. Your Permalink changes are not being conveyed properly. Check whether your .htaccess file in the wordpress root is writable and then see how it goes?

    Just access in the cpanel>filemanager>then the main directory of the site where index.php is stored.. look for the .htaccess file right click then edit.. Removed everything from there..

    this is probably what on the .htaccess file

    # BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPressdelete that and clear your .htaccess then hit save.

    after that go to your wordpress dashboard>permalinks

    try setting it to custom /%postname%/

    Im sure that will work without problems
