I purchased a website moviestallion.com (I'm not trying to spam, but can't explain without mentioning website). But it has an ad on upper right corner.

I have to remove it, but can't remove it through themes editor. Can anyone tell me from where I can remove it? As I'm new to wordpress so don't know much about it.

thanks in advance

    You should have learned WordPress (WP) a little bit before jumping into buying it...

    DO NOT try to edit the files using the online theme editor.

    Download the header.php from your theme folder and find this line:

    Code:
    <div id="topad">
                <a href="http://on9bisnes.satsoft.hop.clickbank.net/"><img src="http://www.tophatmovies.com/wp-content/themes/movies/images/satellite468x60.jpg"></a>
            </div>
    A very good question: whose CB id is there for affiliate sales?
    If the vendor left there their own affiliate ID without telling you... I'd kick their a$$ big time!

      This code is not in header.php file in themes folder.

        Then maybe it's a widget?

        That was an educated guess... since we are talking about a paid theme, so I can NOT look at the code.
        You can...
        You also can go and read the documentation: Video Flick for WordPress*|*Press75.com WordPress Themes
        You also can ask for support, since you bought it.

        I know everybody tells you no need for html knowledge, no need to know coding, no need to do anything, just watch your bank account as you gert rich overnight - but all that's a big BS!
        If you have a website you either learn the basics for webmastering or you pay somebody to do it.

    _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();
    You really need to learn how to use WordPress. Visit their website. Take help of others to fix it for now.
