How to start with wordpress?

I want to know about how to start with word press to create and publish a website on internet. Please guide me from A to Z of the process that:

Can we install wordpress on our domain on internet?
or
Do we copy the whole web pages from our local computer installed with wordpress to the internet in httpdocs folder?

And how to create a website to manage the users and contents online by using wordpress as CMS?

    When learning WordPress I found it best to instal on the domain (some have tools to help) then design. What looks good in DreamWeaver usually doesn't look as good in internet exploder.

    The easiest way to install wordpress is to use something like Fantasitico for cPanel or if you have goDaddy or Bluehost they have their own Wordpress installers.

    I would agree, use fantastico. Also go over to YouTube and watch some video tutorials, you'll pick up on some other useful there too. It's really simple!
