Is this possible with Wordpress?

WEB DESIGN

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to make a site similar to the old hotornot type site where users can upload pictures and rate other peoples photos... using Wordpress. I've been searching around but I'm not really finding any solid information. Thanks in advance Warriors.

yes it is possible with a plugin but it would have to be custom made

  Thanks for the reply, that looks pretty cool. But I'm looking for something that will allow users to upload images that will be displayed at random for rating, I'm not sure if Wordpress is that right platform for this application though.

Whatever CMS or tool you use you will need to do some customization in it to allow users to upload pictures and rate them.

Hello, DEFINITELY YES! This can be done with some plugins, and plugin code modifications but nothing serious.

WP is one of the most flexible blogging engines. Anything is possible with it as long as you have a programmer behind you or if you're a programmer, that will do. PHP!

  Oh yeas, I did one a while back and I built the plugin myself. I think that there may be a plugin to do this now online somewhere. I made one that that allowed a user to upload to a gallery and to a profile with a gallery for that person. I used a bit of modified code from the WP media uplaoder and I mixed it with 2 other plugins to achieve this functionality. It worked really well.
