Change Header in Twenty Ten Wordpress Theme

Hey everyone,

I'm using the Twenty Ten wordpress theme for one of my sites. Can someone help me, or direct me to a resource where I can learn to add my logo to the header?

    If your looking for a free solution you can try Gimp
    That should allow you to add your logo to a header graphic.

    You can add it directly to the source under Appearance> Editor and under the header.php file. Just add a <img tag with your logo file there.

    Easiest way is to download, say the default Path.jpg file from the theme. Then open it in Photoshop or Gimp and customize ot to your heart's content. The save it as Path.jpg to overwrite and upload it back to your server to overwrite. Refresh your site and voila!

    Best to mess with the CSS to in order to get rid of that text above the header image.

      The only text I see above the header is your site title. Why would you want to get rid of that?

    With any photo editing software make your own header. Make sure it is 940x148. Then from your dashboard in side WP click on appearance and it will show the current theme as being Twenty Ten. Then where it says options click on header and you can upload your own header that you created right there.

    Just use the Header Upload Option in the Wordpress Dashboard, it's as simple as that.
