How do I install an unzipped file

WEB DESIGN

After I unzip a file and have all the parts how do I put them together to install them? Being a dummy I need a simple explanation of how to install an unzipped file. Can anyone help me?

Al,

I'm trying to install a Joomla template into my Joomla website Natural Pets Health.
I have the template there now but am having problems with the pages loading and thought maybe reloading would help. When I go into the site the front page shows up but when I go to one of the pages it just shows what is there with no template. Maybe you can help me there also.

I would do a back up on your files so you do not lose anything.

Create folder on desktop (name it whatever) and unzip the files in that folder; not sure how you are uploading your files to your sever. You can use Filezilla or your FTP program and upload the files from that directory folder.

I do also see on your site have a 404 - Component not found. This may have something do with your "Menunav" when clicking on it on the link.. you might want to check that out first before you reinstall.

I didn't see the 404-Component not found. What is the "Menunav"? Where is this found and how do I check it out?
Could you explain these things in a really dumbed down fashion as I'm not too computer savvy.
