I am making a custom Google Map for the first time. I am not using their API I am just doing it the simple way by going to Google Maps and clicking my maps.

My question is, using this method of creating a custom map, is there a way I can make either the title of each marker or the description of each marker, or both, show up as the usurers cursor rolls over the marker?

Here is the link to the website I have placed the map on.
Map of Projects | Test Zone

On a side note, any other feedback on the website would be appreciated, getting ready to present it : )

Site looks great. I'm fairly sure you'll need to use the api but the good news is it's very easy. There are tons of tutorials around.

Site def. looks great! I like the simple and white look. Maybe try to vertically align the h1 category title tag (between the bottom nav border and the top content border - i hope you get what i mean )? But thats just a little detail - site looks great!

About google maps: i am not sure how to work with gmaps without the API, but with the API you can def. do the things you asked and its also very simple to use. (there is even a jquery plugin that makes it a no brainer - i used jquery gmaps when i worked on my last project)

Thanks for the advice. I suppose I will need to figure out the API thing. Its reassuring to hear how simple you say it is : )

I was just trying to get through this as simply as possible but learning a new tool is always good too.
