Bug importing Blogger to Wordpress?

I have a problem, I have a blog with blogger.com and now i am setting up a new wordpress blog and when I import (using the magic button) in wordpress. All my blogger post was imported.

But I found out that all the topics that imported from blogger... they have a > sign at the front of the subject. While new post i created in my wordpress does not have the > sign.

I have like 5k post and all with > sign, what can I do to remove the > sign rather than opening 1 by 1 and editing them?

    Is this a self hosted wordpress blog, or wordpress.com blog?

    If it is self hosted, and get someone to create a simple php script to loop through the database and delete the >'s.

    I can do this for you if interested.
