Creating a membership site with rewards

Hi All,
I am looking at creating a website which members join up to and then earn points for using services that are on that site. Is there software available to manage such a system so that it is all done automatically. For example when they join and points are acrrued on an account page they have the points will automatically be updated. Similar to what some of these large rewards sites provide but can used on a smaller scale site. Sorry if question is confusing.

    whatever you use is going to need a fair amount of customisation, but I'd say one of the paid-to-read/click scripts could probably be adapted to the task.
