Logo Image into a WP StudioPress Header???

I have a client who has a simple site on a wordpress studiopress theme v1.0

This theme has a text header & sub-header...
My clients wants to put a logo image in it's place & I can't for the life of me get it to go...I have uploaded the logo image to the images file.

I searched Google, found a couple of references but nothing that is working so far......I have been trying to use the directions given at this link. Seems just what I want but it won't go....

Any suggestions? Seems like a fairly simple task but i'm left shaking my head here....

    Which exact theme are you using? I've searched Wordpress Studiopress theme, only to arrive at their site with a whole list of themes.

      It is a StudioPress v 1.0, it's an older free theme.

    usually in;
    wp-contents > themes > images
    or something along that line, there should be a file called logo.png or jpg whatever
