How can I add FACEBOOK COMMENTS (not Like button) to an HTML site?

Here is the code for the facebook link that you will see at the bottom of the sig site page. I have a div created for it, but you can probably just put it between p /p tags.

Edit, if you want to see a page with a lot of likes, just to see that it works, go to don't rope a deer

It's near the end of the main story on that page, at the beginning of most of the comments. It does result in a fair amount of traffic from fb.

Edit: Sorry, looks like I misunderstood. I've never heard of adding fb comments and thought you must be asking about the fb button. Do you want to add comments to a site?

I know how to add FB comments to Wordpress, but like I said in the title of this thread, I want to know how to add FB comments to an HTML site.

I watched that video (and thanks!) but its a php site she added the FB Comments to. Something weird happens to the code when I tried putting it on an html site though.

Thanks but I'm pretty sure I've tried adding the comments with both of the pages you recommended and the code kept getting changed by my html editor (Xsitepro). I'm beginning to think that its not possible to add FB Comments to a regular ol NON-php HTML website.

Have you added FB Comments to a static HTML site?

What happens when you change the page you're editing to a .php extension, does it work then? And you'll need to add the code by hand in Notepad, XSitepro will butcher it.

I don't want to change the pages to php because these are older sites with hundreds of pages. Yes, XSP does butcher the code. I did manually add the code with a text editor.
