Zoom in Browser Alters layout of site

Hi there,

Would really appreciate any help with this

I have made a CSS stylesheet (wordpress) so that a background picture and some introductory text comes up before the content on the front page.

However, If you zoom in with the browser function the text gets relatively larger than the background image and so goes off the scale. Is there any way that can fix the size of the text so that it is always relative to to the size of the background image?

Hope this makes sense (let me know if not)

Many thanks

Peter

The idea of a zoom is to make text larger. There's not a lot of point in having a zoom otherwise...
If you try to remove it you're going to greatly inconvenience disabled visitors.

Yeah I get why there is a zoom. :p

When you zoom in the browser it still makes background picture bigger but it makes the text so much bigger. If the text runs off the background-image then no-one can read it because it is the same colour as the web-page.

Is there no way that you can just make them get bigger at the same rate?

      Thanks
