Tidying up WordPress page text

I have a list of tutorials on this page: Microsoft Access Tutorials | Access World

They look all messy and I would like them to look much tidier, maybe similar to this page: Microsoft Access 2003 Tutorials

Do I need a plugin or something?

    Something... and it's called knowledge of XHTML and CSS.

    Even when you use a CMS (Content Management System) like WP, the output, i.e. the end-result you are seeing in a browser... is pure (X)HTML and styled by CSS (stylesheet).
    Which means, if you want (or need) fancy formatting - it has to be done by these "tools".

    The example you gave is using tables for formatting. That's another option with this kind of data - however, you still need to know how to 'style' those tables...

      I notice there are some table plugins for Wordpress. Anyone know if any of them appear in the kitchen sink so that adding tables is ultra easy?

    Any table in itself is ugly as hell...

    What makes it "attractive" for you is the styling - not the table, per se.
    Plugin or not - you can NOT go around the CSS: that's where you define the look of any HTML element.

    I found a table MCE plugin that adds buttons to the kitchen sink. That has helped a lot now. My formatting is looking good now.
