How do people make those WP members Areas?

I want to create a members area for my audio product. It will not be a monthly membership site. It will just be the download area.

I want to have:

Audio content Description

Audio that can be played in the mem area (without downloading)

Audio that can be downloaded (to save to a MP3 player, Hard drive or CD)

The Audio Transcrips

Unadvertised Bonuses(Additional audio)


I'll be asking other "tech" related question in another thread about creating Thank You/Download pages.

    use wp e-member for the membership in combination with wp e-store for the drip content, make pages for the membership pages and items, implement wp e-member, configure it properly and link the rest creatively using e-member to control access to it all.

    PS the 2 plugins are distinctively meant to work together in this capacity.

    the s2member plug-in is free and will give you what you want. give it a try

      the s2member is primarily for multi user sites and buddypress. plus it has a lot of issues with things like redirects to payment and membership sign up pages as well as membership roles. I have used s2member on over 30 sites and that's why I have used wp e-member on over 120 with much better results. Ps, if you need wp e-member, just let me know.
