Does anyone use webmasters.com? I have been using them for about 3 years now, but my hosting is up soon so I plan to move all my stuff to Host Gator as I am told it is a lot better. Any webmasters.com users past or present out there care to chime in on pros and cons? |

loubo44, I can't talk about webmaster or gator because I've never used them but I can talk about www.websitesource.net. In 92 I had my first web site which I had hosted with The Daily Herald Newspaper Company. In 98 I had my own servers and had everything I needed when I needed it and the way I wanted it but I also had about $1000 a month Internet bill. 2 years ago I had to find a service that I could afford who would give me reliable service, MySQL5, email, PHP4, Perl5, gogs of storage, and unlimited bandwidth. I spent about 4 weeks looking at hosting serivces and decided on www.websitesource.net because they gave me what I needed. I also have 6 URLs listed onder one account and my cost hasn't changed. The basic service starts at $6.95 a month which give you more then most webmasters would need. One last thing, you can point and click to add about 30 per-designed programs, such as Jamola, OpenX(banner program), blogs, worldpress, osCommerce, and more... I think you would find www.websitesource.net a company you will also recommend. To get to there main page use this link. http://www.websitesource.com/ TBones |

Just like 440Music, I have not used the services that you are looking at. I currently have 7 sites and have setup many, many sites for my clients as I have a web design company. I have tried many hosting packages and the company we have been using for a while is: Web Hosting Services, Affordable & Reliable | Lunarpages.com They have Fantastico so you can install all kinds of things on your web site with the click of a button. Unlimited Storage and Unlimited bandwidth for a very reasonable price. I am NOT an affiliate so am making no money for saying this. Go check them out before you make you choice to move. |

I use hostgator. It's fast and reliable. They update their script frequently and good support. I send support ticket from my panel and got reply the next day at most. I have dozen of domains per account, using business package. Haven't experience slacking down yet.

I have happily used HostMonster for several years and have and run over thirty web sites on there for less than $100.00 a year. Their customer service is good and almost zero downtime. Previously I had used SimpleHost. Their rates were comparable, but they were down more and their customer service wasn't so hot.

I love hostgator. They have been very user friendly. Their customer support is knows what they are doing. We have over 300 websites and pay around 20.00 a month. The have a program for under 10.00 a month as well for unlimmited domains. Maria |
