HELP...I Need a Squeeze Page that converts

I am looking to change my current squeeze page and need a clean, simple converting page.

I am giving away 10 free photography lessons and 3 bonuses for just a name and email. (ie. 10freelessons)

Not much money to work with, would consider a pay per signup model or a JV on the upsells.

thanks for any input or advice you can offer

I checked out the bottom link on your sig and there's just a few things I can tell you right away. The first is that when I first got to the page the only option that I had was to watch the video and there is a long page that is completely blank. Video is great to have on your page but not everybody is going to watch the video. by making that the only option a lot of people are going to immediately leave your page. You should have the video and sales copy on the same page. give them the option to skip the video if they want to. The other thing that I noticed is that your copy is quite long for a squeeze page. Try writing a shorter one then split test the two and see which one converts better. I say all this because it will help your page convert much better than changing the design. The only thing I would say about the design is move that box in the upper corner so it is not blocking the image of the girl. other that that it looks fine.

    hope this helps at all.

This is a professional opinion, please do not take my comments personal:

The color bothers me. Can't explain it, but as soon as I went to the site, I immediately wanted to leave.

It has a very poorly done template feel to it. The borders around the listing of the cameras is very tacky. If your going to use a border, use a solid color setting in your css file.

Agreed with that search function on the top right. Remove it from there. Your covering up the pretty lady. I'd make it horizontal, and utilize that space underneath the logo, and bring the logo up a bit.

The logo is not that pretty either. It screams MS Word 3D Text Function. It's so 1997 (jk). But seriously, try and do something with that logo. Make it more simple. Clean, sharp. You've got too much going on in that logo... inner shadow, contour, bevel, stroke, and who knows what else you got going on there. Poor logo. Keep her simple.

I got it... I think it's that brownish/beige background that was bothering me at first. I felt sick. How does it look all white background? Or maybe not brown color scheme at all. Blues ALWAYS work. Greens are the new blues, so experiment. But not crappy greens. Like emeralds, and bright greens. Use the greens everyone is using to go 'green'. Just google Go Green, or Environment, and I'm sure every single web site will be green, or shades of.

Also, take that SUBSCRIBE HERE RSS text off the RSS button. That is what the RSS button symbolizes.. no need to write over it. Everyone knows it's a feed, and for those who don't... then a simple arial font text underneath will suffice ('SUBSCRIBE'). Again... simplicity. Go to Google Image - and type RSS ICONS, and you'll find PLENTY of interesting RSS icons. Use those.

Other than that, it's not bad. But its the little things that matter the most.

    Have fun!

    - Davis.
