Hello Everyone,

Yesterday while editing php in the control panel of my WP Thesis site (WRONG THING TO DO!!!) I crashed my site! After finding some good info here I renamed my "custom_functions.php" in Filezilla to "custom_functions.php.bak. That brought the site back up. Since then have have changed the file back to custom_functions.php and have started using Notepad++ and everything seems to be running smoothly. However when I try to edit my PHP through Filezilla and Notepad++ nothing is happening. I am able to edit CSS just fine..... this has me stumped.... any advice?

Thanks

Josh

Sometimes if you are not watching closely Filezilla skips upload the file from your local computer to your remote site because it thinks the remote file is newer.

If I know my local copy is the one I want, I right click on the remote file in FileZilla, delete it, then upload the local copy.

This might not be your problem, but you asked for ideas.
