On wordpress when I try to install a plugin it says plugin is installed then when I looked at my plugin list it doesn't show up so I delete it and reinstall it and hit activate right away and get this message---The plugin does not have a valid header. What does that mean and can I fix it?

When you see this, it usually means that instead of installing the plugin via your WP dashboard that you need to install it via FTP or via the file manager in your hosting account.

Like Norma and Istvan suggested, get yourself Filezilla (FTP program) and connect to your site through that.

Once you're connected, upload the plugin (unzipped version) from your computer into public_html/wp-content/plugins (next to other plugins you have installed on your blog). Then go to wordpress admin area and activate the plugin.

If it doesn't work, there might be a problem with the plugin you're trying to install..

      Hope this helps, good luck
