I downloaded the trial version of dreamweaver but now it expired. Does anyone know about any other web designing program but that is completely free?

  i do agree with ronsang90 that you an use NVU.
  
  you can also try out XSitePro. It's also a good tool to manage your websites but it's NOT FREE!!:rolleyes: but it costs less than Adobe Dreamweaver.

just saw the NVU website and their screenshots... nice free software, but i still love my dreamweaver...

  professional website designers and developers will stick with dreamweaver but for a person who is starting up will like nvu as it's easy to handle and best of all it's FREE!!
  
  this helps them to get things rolling. i also started my webdesign learning curve using nvu (kompozer).

You can add serial key to Dreamweaver software when it ask.You can download it from the serial key.Then it will not expire.

For me, Dreamweaver is glorified text editor - handy for its auto-complete features and code highlighting. But now, I use Notepad++ for the same functionality. It's free to download and use.

I used to use Dreamweaver for its template functions, but have moved way past that now for non-Wordpress sites.

The quickest, easiest way to get started is to download a well-designed, well-coded template which you can learn from. You can tweak the CSS and HTML (manually) to see how it affects the output.

  Dreamweaver has always been traditionally Windows based, and if you are looking to make the switch to Linux, you need to find yourself a solid alternative. If you are making the switch, have a browse over Kompozer, Amaya, Bluefish editor and Screem.

You can go for Artisteer if you don't wanna go for Dreamweaver.

I'm sorry to say but if you're a pro Dreamweaver is the ultimate weapon . A lot of people bash it simply because they don't even use it to 5% of it's capacity .

As an alternative Notepad++ would be the way to go .
