Uh-Oh....... What's Going To Happen now?

I was uploading files with Filezilla into one of many sites I have. Well, I needed to edit the index page of one of my sites, but when I went to drag it in, I wasn't in the public html folder/the site I was in the level before that!

It went into who knows what folder. Any idea what might be the outcome of that? I since put it in the one it was supposed to go in, and that works fine, but am not sure how throwing it into another file is going to result in.

If the transfers details have been cleared (bottom pane) then you could use the the search facility - Server -> search remote files - and try to find it that way - if it's index.html or index.php it should be easy to find. Once you find it - check the date and time to see if it matches when you modified it.

The only thing which may affect your site is if this index file has overwritten an existing index file of the same name - that would mean you would need to find the original and then upload that again?

    Hope that makes sense.

The other alternative is to ask your host nicely if they can find it for you.
