Wordpress - Post Teaser Plug in and theme update issues

Hi

I have a wordpress blog that i really need help with 2 issues.

1. I have the plugin "post teaser" which shows a short version of the post then you click the link to see the full post if your interested. For some reason it stopped working on my latest post and you just see the whole post. I deactivated and reactivated but no fix. Can anyone help?

2. The next issue is there is a theme update. I am using the Twenty Eleven theme. It says I have version 1.1 installed. Update to 1.2. I am worried this will break my blog as i've read things that say you loose settings.

Anyone know what I should do about that?

    Hi, I have a website built using Wordpress. Early last week, I noted that when I click read more, it just brings the image, with no text. And the link to other articles does not work. I have deactivated the pluggins and changed to the original theme, but the problem persists. Any help please.
