Web Designing Language

what are you going to made is it blog site, eCommerce site & Company website Please think 1st then decide what language you use.

if it is blog then WordPress will be good. if it is eCommerce then Joomla & if Company website then Php i suggest.

To create the visual stuff you will need to use HTML and CSS to create the whole interactivity part such as people being able to login and post a topic then you would need to use PHP and a database software like MySQL.

In Webdesign, the terms change. Language will be called as Programming or Scripting.
So you want a website to be designed or programmed or Developed. These are the terms generally used.

Ok coming back to the Answer to your question!
1. For Static ( only design with Html) which don't have any dynamic in nature like adding new posts or new pages. This can be done using 2 softwares. Photoshop and Dreamweaver. If you want to learn them please Google.

2. Best Solution is WORDPRESS, its completely dynamic and within few days you can learn how to update your own content using Posts and Pages. It is really a GREAT gift to IM's. There are unlimited resources in Warrior Forum about Wordpress. Just go an search in Google and you will definitely LOVE Wordpress.

3. Other best way IM's do is to Hire a Web Designer and complete the website. Thus you get Quality Website and you can concentrate on your Sales and services.

By asking this question you are revealing how much ground you would need to cover to get that website built if you were writing it purely in scripting language.

Truth is, you don't need to learn any html, asp, php, css or whatever to get a website up and running. You can then do a bit of learning once you have the site to play with.

If I were you I'd head off to wordpress to get going.

You can design your website using plain HTML, PHP , ASP or ASP.net
You can also use tools like Dreamweaver which help you design (create) websites with zero coding involved (you dont need to learn any language if you use that tool).
You can also download website templates and change the content to create website. This too involves no coding.
You can also use CMS like WordPress, Joomla etc to create websites with zero coding involved.
