Increasing conversion and lead generation

Hi all,

I own a well built and professionally maintained website covering kitchens. We are basically an online kitchen guide with a find a pro section for homeowners to find pros in their area.

The current problem is that the website is not generating leads consistently and because of this, the business is at a standstill.

If we can get the website operating properly and generating leads for our advertisers then the sky really is the limit. This website is well branded and can be operated on a global, but localised level.

I would greatly appreciate advice and any help from someone who has operated a similar website of lead generation, or any experts for that matter.

    Sometimes the most professionally put together website can have some glaring issues once it has to perform online.

    So the first question is how long has the website been up and running? Secondly, what is the web address?

    what is the successful competition doing?
    Are you allowing reviews from the find a pro's customer base?
    Just because they say they are a pro, doesn't mean they are a pro.
    Otherwise a person just need to look in the local directory for a hopeful pro, and are not needing your services. People like recommendations, and not just names.
