What Else Should I Have On My Site?

My site is backspacez.us/forums

I feel like having just a forum is too plain. I had a regular website template at the root but it was too hard to navigate in the ACP.

    Hi Backspacez,
    My design Advice for your website
    1. You need to put a TAG Line below your Logo, so that visitors will know what is your forum about in First Look.
    2. Background and the Threads color are similar, so please workout on the colors so that the THREADS standout.
    3. Instead of Tabs, Use FULL MENU BAR with all the links and especially HELP TOOLS, Support, Quick links, FAQ's
    4. Another very important is adding atleast 4 lines of detailed description about each Forum Thread
