I need one webhosting package for multiple websites- any recomendations?

I have a few domains and I want to set up a separate website for each domain- most webhosting packages only allow one website per package. I think hostGator might be an option - has anyone done this, or is it possible?

Yes I've been with them for years hosting multiple sites on 1 Baby shared account and they are great.

I agree, I use hostgator for most of my sites (the only exception is the article directory which was moved from hostgator before they offered VPS's, but I am considering moving back to them once I figure out how to move a 3.7Gb database..)

I usually go for the baby plan which will allow me to setup multiple domains and email addresses. I've not needed to get any of the other plans at this stage.

Hostator offer fast servers and fairly good customer service as well as great reliability.

Host Gator is awesome. I host multiple websites with them. But always remember to have backups. No matter what host you choose you must always have backups.

Another vote here for Hostgator. Great value, easy to manage multiple domains, and their customer and technical service is very good.

If you have multiple sites, i would suggest a reseller account on hostgator instead of using add on domains etc... this way if something goes wrong with one site(hacked etc) then the rest are unaffected.

With addon domains, if you get one site in trouble (too much CPU time or whatever) then they all suspended not just the one that had the issues.

HostGator is probably the best of the big companies with "unlimited" hosting but it is absolutely not the best host. Take a look at HawkHost.com and MDDHosting.com. Both of those will have better support, you'll know your limits (in stead of supposed unlimited hosting), and you will probably have as good or better speed and uptime.

There is no such thing as "unlimited hosting" for a few bucks. Once your business reaches a certain level you will need a reliable VPS or even your own server. And then you can compare between large scale hosts and small companies with great support.
I don't have anything against hostgator and such but in my experience I got far better treatment and support with small dedicated companies.
That said if your requirements are not high and all you have a re a few HTLM site and/or blogs then hostgator or almost any other brand name will do. Once you run scripts, depend on them to run reliable and need support then the game changes
