I need help with my tumblr sidebar?

Okay so I want to figure out how to make my sidebar seen through, like so I can see my backround, currectly at the sidebar part in the html code it says <meta name="color:sidebar background" content="#ffffff" /> is there a way to change that to make it see through?

Like @hawaiiwebdesigner said, you could use a transparent PNG, or you could look into the opacity setting that's available with CSS. A simple article talking about opacity can be seen at:
