Yea you need a new header :-) you can download PSD backberry's and iphones though the social media part of it is very good.
i think you are heading in the right direction the free website offer is good though careful you dont offer an unusable site i know where you are going with it and its a great idea.
the information is fantastic though
if you are into offline marketing this is a good route to go down with this site
if i were you id install a prettier wordpress template though as for being new you are doing really well

Hi, frankly I think your site is pretty 'ordinary' and there is no different from any site setup by newbie IMer.
To differentiate, you need to work on the header and your offers. It is not what you like or think what the market wants, you need to look at what the market tells you.
Seem from your replies to the critiques, you are not so open to suggestions... so I will stop here until you want more... Cheers

I'm not an expert designer but I like the header.

I like the layout, easy to navigate. The ads are nice text ads (not overpowering graphic or banner ads).

I would change some of the content.

Your best line or service, in my opinion, is "EC-MEDIA can build you a ‘back to basics’ 3 page website for your small business. And the total cost to you…. FREE!!!*"

I would put that at the top of the page to grab the reader's attention. And continue with the language that describes the free service.

The language in maroon, I would change to black. Use red to capture the reader's attention, then stay with black letters.

Try to create a more powerful closing statement..

Instead of: All in all we feel you wont find better value for these services ANYWHERE online so please feel free to take a look around the EC-MEDIA site and I look forward to speaking to you soon.

Maybe you could use something similar to this:

If your business is not online, you are losing money.[maybe highlight this in yellow]

At EC-MEDIA, we can get your business online fast and for a reasonable price. Whether you want a simple website or one with bells and whistles, we provide FREE quotes.

The "Steve" at the bottom could be in a cursive font, to look more like a signature.

I would make your company name smaller and make it a hyperlink.


Check out some of the "squeeze" page or sales page examples here on the forum to get some ideas on how to write a better home page.

looks good for nawabie but if header change after some seconds with diffirent images it will be more great.

Ok so based on what I am hearing so far, I need a new header and maybe a new theme but the content with a few tweaks is not too bad.
I have been looking at these themes to possibly look a little more proffessional, and it has sliding headers. Am I right in thinking that I can just install a new theme and I wont lose anything?
Would like to know why the header is coming across so badly, I was originally going to stay with a black & white theme but not so sure now.

Hey steve yes those templates at that cost are diamond i think with a little work you can get it right *lori* was correct you need to make a header graphic with the best line in your business *free website* and all the rest.
the lmbolt templates on offer are fantastic i definitely would switch to that :-) you have your content most of the way there and if you need some simple but very cool header graphics ill chuck my neck out there and offer some for you for free mate :-)

If it is your buissness website don't add to the site google adsense it look bad and it wouldn't generate money.

For the rest I think it's ok but maybe try to think about a CMS like Joomla! you would be able to make a better looking templates.

In the banner change the picture of the ipad and the acer notebook. The best will be to make the picture background transparent and save as .png
