Has my site been cloned??

I am doing some SEO work and in checking reverseinternet.com I noticed another site that is exact to mine, using the same IP, but different nameservers

My site is wheresmyseat.net and the other site is b3d9.net

Any ideas about this?? Did I get hijacked? All of the links seem to point in the right direction and the ads all have the same destination URL's, but something just doesn't seem right

I think you should call directly to your hosting company and ask them about this, they may give you a better orientation

As I'm told, you only need to point the nameservers of your domain to a site. I don't quite understand it myself!

I have tried contacting the registrant and the company that is listed as the host, but have received no response. Funny thing is that the company listed as host to the other domain is affiliated with my host.....

if your site was cloned just contact the thiefs hosting company and get them to shut it down. If the hosting company does nothing about it or is too slow to respond, post in forums and let the host know so they can act faster.

    If someone clones your site.

How is the host going to determine if they copied you or vice versa?

Go to View HTTP Request and Response Header enter b3d9.net and you see it has a 301 redirect to your site. You have nothing to worry about at all.

That's what my host said, and that's when I added the redirect to my .htaccess file.

I reported to Gator (both my site and the copied site were on their servers) that my site had been cloned they claimed they could not tell who had copied who.

Jesus, the nonsense people are saying here.

Nothing wrong here, nothing illegal going on, nobody got hacked, nothing to report.
The owner of b3d9.net simply redirects to your website. You should be thankful for the additional traffic.
