It looks very clean. Almost too clean because it's hard to figure out where you want to go because nothing is more enticing than the next thing. I don't know if its pictures, or icons, or what but I just feel like it looks very dated. Layout wise I think you did great!

Add some more visual elements to the page. It's way too bare. Also, if I glance at your page, there is nothing to really tell me what its about. Its boring.

Regarding the blog that you wanted feedback on:
I think it's Ok. The thing that people who are not bloggers forget is that you typically land on a post page, not the main page. Meaning, as a user you usually look for something in Google, and click it. Google then takes you to a specific post. Therfore many times the post layout is the first impression for the users.

When I go to the post layout the colors on the "most views" is somewhat annoying, and the header looks plain so I might not take the site that seriously at first.

I think your adsense locations are "spot on", and should convert really well with this type of blog. I might just add the "relevant post" plugin like you have in your other blogs to try and squeeze another click (increasing bounce rate and page views per visit). The posts are huge in a nice open format. That's really nice, easy to read and the share buttons are right there for the clicking.

The only other thing I sort of don't like is the tag line: A place to find updates of all Kind. Something with a little more swag would be nice like, "Keeping your updates up to date". "Where Updates Happen".

Just my initial feedback - all in all it's a really solid site.

Can I ask you, are you getting much traffic or making much money on the sites that you have in your signature?

I have a similar site and I've been trying to take traffic to the next level and I can't seem to get past 1000 UV's per day.

Okay, just my 2 cents ...
Basically the site is okay and so don't take my criticisms too hard, this is intended to be constructive criticism.

I think you need some photos/pictures on the site. Too much text, nothing to break it up, so it's not attractive to the eye.

I don't like the rainbow colors over on the right, it just looks too garish compared to the simplicity of the rest of the page. I also don't like the idea of showing how many comments or views the articles have. Why? Because when you're only getting a few comments it just points out the lack of popularity which isn't a good thing. You want people to perceive that it's a happening site and so having those numbers over there are contrary to that perception, imho.

I also would like to see more division between the articles, some kind of colored line or graphic that separates each article a bit more so it doesn't all run together on the page.

And while you didn't ask specifically about the subject matter, it occurs to me that "updates of all kind" is too vague and you'll get more traffic and interest by focusing on just one or two things or just a few related things and then give it a name that says that. "updates on electronics", "updates on electronic entertainment" or whatever... If necessary have a few different blogs to cover all your topics, but I would not put them all under one vague umbrella, personally.

Then again, I'm a relative newbie to IM so take this with a grain of salt! I do have a little more experience and knowledge re web design.

It lacks uniqueness. I would look for a good design template. Overall, I like the easy access to the posts. But, it's very white and needs a theme.

It's really missing some kind of way to break things up visually. Something like use of different shades of gray for the background of text would help to accomplish this task. Just as you see on this forum areas of text have boxes around them and a color of gray behind them to help them stand out and defined things.

wow looks great boss! Your site has good traffic and designs. But one question and that is for us why Wordpress?

I like that it's very clean and not big fluff around, but as some others already said, it looks too plain. Add some pictures and graphics to make it come to life a bit more.

too bright and shiny. you need to add some dark color in the background.

It looks like you're just plagiarizing articles from other sites. That's not a good business model in my opinion.

For instance, it looks like you stole this article on your site from a blog on the Wall Street Journal Digital Network. You've plagiarized other blog posts from that site as well.

This might be a good way to get your Adsense account banned.

Looks very simple, neat and clean. I Don't think that any change is required.

Looks clean and nice, but i would change the fonts .
It is only a personal preference, everything else is simple and neat..
