I'm looking to get some feedback.

I'm thinking the top of my site needs a little something more but I'm not sure what?

Any comments or suggestions on how I should maybe change things up a bit would be nice.

Thanks to all.

My site link is in my signature.

I think a banner would be fine.

I like the idea of creating a banner, my only problem is I am stuck on trying to figure out on what to do for one. The two services I am mainly trying to support is my computers and photography. Given that if you got any ideas on what I should do for a banner or how wide it should be in pixels I'd love to get your input. I've played with different graphics over the years but never been able to come up with the right idea.

I find it easier to work on a site for someone else because it's pretty much always one topic. But in my case I have a few services I offer and want to keep them on the same site.

    Hi Robinsden,
The first thing I noticed when I looked at your front page is that it's all about you. Sorry, but nobody cares about you. Your prospects will want to know what you can do for THEM. Imagine sitting in front of your ideal customer. Explain to them how specifically your service can save them time or money, or solve their problem. Write it down.

And another detail - I suggest using a sans-serif font; it's easier to read on screen.

Thank you very much for your comment, I will need to take the time and try to figure out how to re-work the ideas I am trying to get across to my clients. It's great to be able to get constructive comments like yours so thank you.

i'd center the top icons.. i'm using a widescreen monitor and the page content is centered, but the navigation icons at the top are left justified. seems unbalanced to me.

I don't like the layout very much. Check how other websites look like. I would create a logo for your site and also center the icons on the top.

Frankly speaking, I don't like the icons, especially the first one with your photo on the white field. to my mind, it must be a bit more serious not like in the clouds. But sure, it's up to you

It's a little hard to read. I would make those boxes a bit more opaque so you can read the text more easily.

I think I put a lot of information on a page. Instead divided into categories and sub-pages. For example, one category with the most common mistakes when flirting with a girl - then you can have common Mistake top 5 on the first page, etc. Some pictures may be a good idea too.

Hi Robin. I am gonna be very honest with you so don't be offended. I think the site looks very amateurish and so you're selling your service short. Why not get a fab looking site with the best cms, blog and gallery functions - i'm talking wordpress. FREE!
You can also use a free theme available at wordpress dot org. There's over 1400 to choose from. Or do a google search for 'best free wordpress themes 2011' and you'll see that there are some awesome WP themes out there. And if you want to look unique, its easy to create a custom header and tweak the css. Hope your not offended. But you did invite feedback. Gimme a pm if you want any design help.
    Cheers!

I by no means take any offense to anything you have to say. Nor anyone else. I love to receive comments from people, good or bad. It helps me in being able to better design my site and helps me to figure out what things need to be worked on.

I would also appreciate any help anyone wants to give me if they can send me an email. I have a link to my email on my site.

Thanks to you and to everyone who has helped me out by sharing their ideas with me.

Make the menu tabs all discolored and highlighted upon hover instead of the current way. It is quite difficult to navigate. You might want to change the layout.
