| Hi, I am looking for a way to play mp3 files in a website that will play in an ipad and iPhone environment (i.e. not a Flash based player). The file should be able to be played by pressing a button. Ideally there should be 3 buttons, play, pause, stop. I am not sure if there is already an application available that can do this. Can anyone let me know how I can achieve this? Thanks in advance, Go Girl |

This can be achieved pretty painlessly. One suggestion would be jPlayer : HTML5 Audio & Video for jQuery You can do a quick search on google for more options. Here is the search results for the search query 'HTML5 music player' : http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...5+muisc+player Hopefully this information helps! |

| I have done a bit of research and report the following. Regardless of what technology is used to initiate the playing of audio files, when the file is played on the iPhone Apple forces it to be played via the Quick Time player – which fills the whole iPhone screen for the duration of the play and then once the play is completed returns the focus back to the web page. Not ideal if you want the user to have a visual of the web page while the audio is being played. ![]() Go Girl |
